Ajilon Professional Staffing is looking for a CIO/Director of IT for one of our local metro Detroit Healthcare clients. This company consists of over 100 locations in multiple states.
Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to develop and execute the strategic technology plan for the organization within the context of company goals and objectives. Participate in establishing the strategic direction for the IT organization. Partner with business leaders to establish future project portfolio that makes the most effective use of IT resources. Conduct resource planning to ensure availability of resources to meet objectives. Perform all required people leadership functions. Lead a Consultants and Developers. Manage multiple vendor relationships. Collaborate with the leaders of business units and IT departments to develop a shared vision of the future environment. Recruit and hire new associates, contractors and consultants. Coach and mentor staff. Write and present performance appraisals. Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to achieve the goals set forth by the area. Will be responsible for driving strategy, development and implementation of enterprise wide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities. This includes design and architecture of our business intelligence and reporting systems, BI assessment, business requirements gathering, data architecture and modeling, ETL design and delivery. This position will be a key contributor in planning and coordinating enterprise wide BI activities, including data governance, prioritization of demand for BI/DW support and solution development. This role requires working throughout all levels of the organization, and working closely with business sponsors , business subject matter experts and Information Technology to ensure that high business value solutions are planned and executed.
10-12 years of IT experience, including application development, ERP implementation, and maintenance of large-scale integrated software platforms
Proven experience in the BI/DW field as a Director leading and developing a team of developers, analysts and project managers
Effective relationship management and ability to influence key decision makers
Experience working with large-scale, high-performance organizations; Experience with a national retailer highly desired
Strong vendor negotiation and partnering skills with experience in outsourcing and off shore development
Strong project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing multiple simultaneous large-scale projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors; ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives
*Proven experience leading multi-million dollar BI projects including budgetary responsibilities
Promote the development of self-service capabilities for the business in the access and reporting of business information
Proven experience and strong understanding of data modeling, design and architecture principles and techniques across master data, transaction data and derived/analytic data; strong technical expertise in data storage/management technologies
Deep knowledge of best practices through relevant experience across data-related disciplines and technologies, particularly for enterprise-wide data architectures, data management and data warehousing/BI
