Jawood is looking for a Senior Team Lead with solid knowledge and past experience supporting business areas. Assigns work to project team members and directs their activities. Provide strategic and tactical project leadership to drive project progress to an aggressive schedule. The Lead is wholly responsible for the business readiness schedule, activities, issue investigation and implementation. Reviews and evaluates work. Confers with and advises team members on business readiness problems, priorities, and methods. Reviews and ensures a high level of quality and service are maintained by meeting or exceeding commitments. May be involved in technical discussions and activities. A high proficiency level in specific job related skills is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

*5 - 7 years demonstrated strong leadership skills driving empowered work teams
*High proficiency in the use of MS-Project and methodologies
*Highly proficient with all MS Office Professional desktop tools (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
*Lead the identification of changes to current business processes and document business operational process changes
*Leads and delegates business readiness activities, driving application features, functionalities and operational changes
*Lead/monitor project activities for business readiness with training and internal communication areas
*Collaboration with business clients, IT Delivery Lead(s), vendor(s), to produce high quality business readiness processes/procedures to better support successful production release
*Provide assistance and information about existing implementations to internal and external constituents.
*Facilitate workgroup sessions, develop detailed work plans and schedules, accountable for monitoring and reporting on issues, risks and overall project progress
*Understanding of IT roles and associated skills
*Task oriented and committed to task completion within expected timeframes
*Experience working in a corporate environment with minimal supervision
*Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills dealing with difficult or complex ideas using conflict resolutions skills
*Ability to read and interpret documents including process, procedure and technical manuals
*Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
*Logical thinker and problem-solver able to work through complex problems to completion in a methodical manner

PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

*5 -7 years healthcare industry experience with particular emphasis on sales and underwriting
*3 - 5 years prior experience in an IT role
*Minimum 3 years related experience preferred.
*Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
*PMP certification preferred
*Understanding of IT environments, systems development processes, and associated roles
*Excellent understanding of risk management/mitigation
*Experience and knowledge of the small group market segment
*Experienced in developing and delivering presentations at executive levels
*General understanding of industry standard system development life cycles
*Understanding of commercial software packages related to insurance sales and underwriting
*Balanced skill-set which includes project management, health insurance business, and information technology skills
*Experience in working with vendors
*Experience in reviewing and understanding enterprise-level technology architecture
*Familiar with quality assurance review responsibilities and duties
*Demonstrates solid organizational skills in order to managing multiple, concurrent tasks with competing priorities
*Demonstrated ability to be innovative in solving day-to-day problems
*Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
