Outstanding opportunity for AP TEAM LEAD. My client is located in Ypsilanti, MI. We are seeking a full cycle AP Specialist/Team Lead to add to their team. This is a temp-to-hire role. There will be a 90 day evaluation period before going direct.



Must have experience:


Communicating all activities to Controller


Successfully managing all vendor

responsibilities


Ensure all credits due to the Company are properly documented


Ensure all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed upon


Manage and complete all projects as assigned

Maintain immaculate records


Maintains accounts by matching invoices to receivers, reconciling price discrepancies, entering data into computer, and balancing prepayment entries.


Assists in generating and balancing applicable reports for month-end closing and transferring weekly payables to ledger.


Calculates and reconciles return goods vouchers in order to receive credit for the returned items and enter vouchers into the system.


Performs various clerical duties such as maintaining vendor files, preparing manual checks.


Assist in maintaining the accuracy and compliance with state and local tax regulations.


Works with internal/external audit to complete necessary audit requirements.


Works with plant personnel on a daily basis in order to resolve any discrepancy.


Process 1099 files for suppliers and submit data to IRS for processing.


Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customer base.


Position pays up to $15/hr to start, with direct opportunity up to 39k/year.

Candidates must have JDE, Great Plains, or SAP experience.


Must have:

Minimum 4 years of high volume A/P experience with at least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience required.
