Hostelling International USA isa 501 c 3 nonprofit organization, based in Silver Spring, MD, whose mission is "to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling." HI-USA run a network of over 60 hostels in the US and is part of the Hostelling International network of nearly 4,000 hostels in more than 60 countries.
