Have a 82 Z28 (first year for type 3) Blue w/blue cloth int, 350 V8, Edelbrock intake, Holly carb, Hooker headers, dual exhaust, 4spd MT, T-top, power windows, power seat, original 8track ERS radio, 4wheel disk and posie. This car is solid /no rust and the interior still looks new. Car is all original (except the engine) and has not been hacked to do the motor change. All the original eng wiring has been neatly rolled to the side and left in place. If some one wanted to (I don't know why they would) they could put an original wimpy 145hp 305 back in it and it would be completely original. My brother bought this car new and changed the motor almost right away. He put in a rebuilt 300hp 327 from a corvette he had but later pulled it out when he decided to sell his vett, then he just let the camaro set without the motor. I got the car from him and later on put the 350 in it. It was never driven in the winter and has not been used much. I only drove it to car shows and a few cruises but never had much need for it. It's odometer is in the 27k range and is original miles. The car has never been wrecked and the exterior is still original but sad to say that back then original paint jobs were crap. It looks ok from the curb but anyone who knows paint can see this is a poor paint job. The paint has shrunk and some small places the clear coat has actually flaked off. The engine swapped into it is one I rebuilt from a caprice police car. It has now set for more than 15 years in my garage. Recently I did clean the carb out, primed the engine oil, put in a battery and fresh gas. You will be able to hear the car run but no test drives as it has no plates or insurance. You will be able to drive it home if you like after you buy it, I would have no problem driving it to CA and back but I won't drive it without plates and risk losing it. I don't have to sell this so the 4500 is firm. Also please be a SERIOUS BUYER as I work a lot and don't have time to run a museum showing this car to looky loos.
