Domestic Short Hair-black - Small - Young - Male - Cat - Powell
Description
Powell is a special needs kitten. He has issues with his digestive system. We are working to correct those issues if possible so far we haven't had much luck... He is now about 1 1/2 years old and has gotten to about 8 pounds. It appears after many blood tests and liver tests that hisproblem could be from his malnutrition as a young kitten or genetically based. It appears that Powell may go through his life with a loose stool. However, it does not seem to affect his health otherwise. He has a beautiful black shiny coat. Powell is very quiet kitten. When he came into our rescue in November, he was nothing but skin and bones. He weighed just 1 lb 2 oz. His mother had abandoned him when he was just 4 weeks old. He doesnt know much about playing. He is more content to just lie on your lap and be petted - now that and food are both things that he loves. He loves to be near you, but he doesnt demand your attention. He just enjoys your company. If you want to pet him, thats fine with him. But if youre busy, he understands that too. Powell is in a basic black suit but he does have a white splash on his chest and his belly. He has tested negative for FIV/FeLuk, is up-to-date on his vaccinations. He gets along with our two older cats and our dog too. OUR CATS AND KITTENS STILL WANT TO FIND THEIR FOREVER HOMES. BECAUSE HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS!!! Our cats and kittens want to be in their homes so they can be with their new families. Until further notice our sterilized kittens and cats 6 months and older are $60. Sterilized kittens under 6 months are $75. Our unsterilized kittens will be $75 plus a $25.00 spay/neuter deposit. If you have room in your home and your heart for a loving, companion please consider adopting one of our kittens or cats. They would love to spend their life with you.IF YOU MISSED OUR KITTEN SHOWER AT PETSMART CANTON - YOU CAN STILL DONATE ITEMS TO HELP US HELP THEM. JUST BRING THE GIFTS TO US AT OUR ADOPTION EVENTS.
