Birthdate - 12/07 Weight - 50lbs Wow look at my ears and how handsome I am!!! My name is Charlie and I was surrendered to Home Fur Ever because the lady that thought she wanted me, had a baby, and of course I'm the first to go. However, that may be a good thing because I was kept locked in the basement all the time anyway. I was forced down the basement steps with a stick or any other long object my former owner decided to shove me down there with. Update from Charile's foster dad and trainer: Charlie Brown is a high level energy dog who is very bright and capable and wants to please. He is amazingly athletic and powerful. He requires strong leadership and a lot of attention and exercise every day. He loves to go for long walks and to play, especially with other dogs. He loves to run and jump and to be challenged mentally and learn new things. He does not like to be left alone or locked up for extended periods of time or to be ignored. Charlie would make a fine pet for the right situation - someone who can pay attention to him, spend time with him and challenge him and meet his high level of energy. Charlie requires a person to be confident and self assured and someone who is a strong pack leader. Charlie would do poorly in a situation with a lazy and/or submissive person who cannot control a strong-willed dog or in a situation where he has little or no supervision. Someone with a lot of energy and enough time to spend at least an hour a day on a dog would get a great pet and companion in Charlie.
