Saphira and her babies were surrendered to Home FurEver by a family who did not take care of them. Saphira has tested positive for heartworm. The treatment is very expensive and takes several months. Please donate and help us get Saphira feeling better again. She will not be available for adoption until her treatments are over by the end of the year. She is worth the wait and a wonderful dog! Birthdate 10/28/06 Saphira has had multiple litters of pups in her short life, but will be spayed before going to her new home. She has a good disposition and is housetrained despite having been left in a yard most of her life. She has a gorgeous coat with red highlights and soft silky hair.
