Birthdate - 6/05 Chata and Carmel were found around an abandoned house with 5 other dogs. They were the only 2 that didn't run away from being saved. Chata is a very sweet dog. We are not sure where the big scar down her back came from, but if it was inflicted by humans, she has no hardfeelings towards them. She is a medium sized dog, only about 44bs. Don't let her scars deter you away from meeting this sweet girl. She is very loveable, likes walks and sometimes walks on her hind legs. She loves soft blankets and to lay in your lap and be petted. Her foster mom says she has a very soft bark. Chata is a dominant female and can play rough at times. We feel it would be best if she was placed in a home with a male dog who would tolerate her play or be the only dog in the house. A fenced in yard is a requirement. If you are interested in fostering her, we are looking for another foster home where she can get more attention. She has been living in a dog house outside because there are too many dogs inside the house. The weather is changing and getting cold and we really want this very affectionate dog to live inside with a someone that can make her feel part of the family.
