Yellow Labrador Retriever - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Duffy

Meet Duffy. He is a yellow lab mix, between 2 and 3 years old, and weighs approximately 40 lbs. His optometrist believes he has been blind from birth and finds no underlying concerns for any other cause. He has completed his heartworm treatments and is now on preventative. Once it is confirmed that he is negative for heartworms, he will be neutered. He is a very loving cuddle-bug. He is a wonderful watch dog and is very playful. Because of his visual impairment, he would feel best in a quiet, calm environment with adults and teens, and minimal stimulation. It is also recommended that he be an only pet (well, maybe a goldfish). A home visit and a commitment to specialized training will be required for placement.
