Hound - Large - Adult - Female - Dog - Dixie

You really have to see this very pretty girl!Dixie is a very sweet girl. She is a beautiful brindle color! She has tested negative for heart worm and has all her shots. Dixie is approximately 1-3 years old. She appears to have some Lab in her also. She weighs about 65 lbs. Sheknows basic commands, but is very strong and needs to work on leash walking. She loves to run and would like an owner who will take her for a run (on leash, of course) daily. Because of her hound background she needs to go to a home with a secured fenced in yard. She is a good car rider and loves kids. We are not sure how she is with large dogs but she does live very well with a small dog. Don't know about cats at this time. She hasn't been around them. Dixie is good in her foster mom's home and hasn't been destructive at all! She is housebroken and crate trained. She is ready for her new home! ADDOPTION FEE $150 (cash only) The dogs/puppies that are posted are available, unless it is stated 'adopted'. If one is 'pending' you still may submit an application in case the adoption does not go through.P.A.W.S does not operate a shelter, all of our pets are in foster homes.
