I love to sit on your lap and get petted or go for short walks around the neighborhood. My favorite pastime is digging in the covers in bed and sleeping where it is warm. Sammy has been seen by three vets. Two of the vets recommend him having reconstructive surgery on both of his knees, the third vet said he did not feel the surgery was necessary. Sammy runs in the yard, plays with the other dogs, goes up and down the stairs, and is not in pain with the way his knees are now. Forgotten Angels has discussed Sammy's case with a vet who specializes in orthopedic surgery, based on all the information we have decided not to have the surgery done now. However, potential adopters must be aware of this condition and understand Sammy may need the reconstructive surgery in the future.
