Forgotten Angels Goal: To save more of the dogs and cats deamed "not worth it" by others, in honor of my beloved cubby written off as not worth the time or effort by the animal shelter staff. i had the honor of being his mom for 9 months before he walked over the rainbow bridge. each day i had him was a gift, and i hurt each day without him. so in his honor i started forgotten angels. all my love my little angel. Forgotten Angels Rescue, Inc.s current mission is to save impounded animals in the Metro-Detroit area of Michigan by placing them into private foster homes until permanent and loving homes can be found. Forgotten Angels Rescue Inc. finds new homes for many wonderful dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, both mixed breeds and purebreds. Our adoption procedures include screening and home visits of potential adopters as well as a veterinarian reference for any resident animal. Forgotten Angels Rescue vision for the future includes: increasing the number of animals rescued and adopted, increasing the number of volunteers, helping to make improvements to local animal shelters and pounds, educating citizens and providing pet therapy with foster animals at local senior citizen facilities and group home for developmentally delayed adults.
