Arrival Story: Rosebud was given up by her owners because she kept loosing litter after litter of puppies. Apparently, they only wanted a female dog so they could make money off her puppies. After loosing her last litter, she was shipped off to the local shelter so they could go buy another dog to take her place. Age / Weight: Rosebud is a teacup Chihuahua and is approx. 5 lbs and about 5-6 years old. Personality Description: What can we say except that our little, little, little girl Rosebud is one of the sweetest girls possible! She is such a delicate little creature is so loving once she gets to know you. Shes very gentle and quite shy at first. Her foster mom thinks she may have been somewhat abused at her previous home because she will run and hide when her foster mom so much as raises her voice for any reason. It took her a little time but now she loves to snuggle close to her foster mom and especially loves to snuggle under the covers when shes snoozing. She loves to go for car rides and for walks and her foster mom thinks shed make a wonderful pet for a person or family that leads a pretty quiet lifestyle. Because Rose likes it on the quieter side, a home without children is preferred. Kids tend to be a little too loud and fast for her liking. Ideal Forever Home: Rosebud would do well in a quieter home environment without very young children. Little kids tend to move too fast for her and they scare her. She doesn't ever try to bite but she will bark if she's scared. She lives with other dogs and does very well with them, even playing with her foster brother, Chi-Chi but sometimes really big dogs will make her scared like little kids sometimes do.
