Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for a .NET Developer on a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading company in the Metro Detroit area.
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Responsible for analysing and designing complete IT solutions that adhere to project architectural guidelines. Works closely with IT Project leaders and customers to review business process issues and project objectives, designing and developing solutions that exceed the customer's expectations. Provides analysis and design support using UML and Enterprise Architect as required. Provides program development and support using .NET technologies as well as various Scripting languages such as JavaScript and VBScript.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. 5+ years of .NET - C#: ASP.NET software development experience
2. 3+ years of XML; XSL: Schema experience
3. Strong RDBMS skills (SQL Server with Reporting Services preferred, Oracle desired)
4. Strong AJAX development experience
5. Proven analysis and design skills
6. Experience in development and management of a software product having multiple installations with customization involved for each of them.
7. Collaborative team member and teamwork experience with business-related projects
8. Exposure to Quality Management systems and Configuration Management of complex software products
9. Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated verbal and written communication, such as Requests for Quote, client communications, and technical information including Service Solutions Software Engineering Process artifacts.
10. Ability to communicate concerns and identify resolutions in a clear, concise manner.
11. Ability to meet deadlines, monitor and assess performance within deadlines, and utilize appropriate skills and resources to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
12. Ability to work with short deadlines and high stress.
13. Excellent problem solving and problem identification skills.
14. Ability to professionally utilize problem resolution skills while dealing with client or team related problems and issues.
15. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field required.
