Jawood is looking for a Technology Specialist with the following skills and experience:

*Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, Biostatistics or other related field is required. Master's degrees in related field(s) preferred.
*5 - 10 years experience working with healthcare data. Ability to diagnose and communicate data quality issues
*4 - 5 years experience writing SQL queries
*Solid understanding of healthcare industry
*Ability to work well in a team-focused environment is strongly required
*Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal and written skills to communicate complex ideas
*Complex logical reasoning skills
*Highly accurate and detail orientated
*Track record of on-time on-budget project completion
*SAS and SQL Server experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Leads in the research, analysis, identification and evaluation of data from assigned problems
*Investigate, review, recommend, communicate and implement solutions which identify problems and root cause of issues
*Independently develop and plan, reports, papers and other materials in a clear and concise manner
*Provide expertise and guidance to customers as required
*Other duties may be assigned
